Ask your friend what parts she finds meaningless and then start from there. You will have to tackle issues one by one instead of covering everything to do with shia/sunni issues all at once!! Once you have determined what topic you wish to discuss initially then post it on here and i'm sure someone will be able to help....inshallah!!

Salaams

Yep there is too much to start with. However many of the arguments go along the lines of Shias believe in a different Qur’an, they believe in Imams, they curse the companions, they believe that Imam Ali is superior then all the other Prophets, Allah can make mistakes and so on.... Much of what they say is either due to lack of understanding, misinterpreting the hadith from shia books, using unauthentic hadith or just misquoting texts form Shia books.

However just like Carlos said you must narrow down what your friend ‘thinks’ she knows and then counter with proof and logic. There are many people on this forum that will help if any questions can’t be answered.

to be honest, the best way to conteract something said is to analyse their response and put it into context with something they are aware of. dont go into proof and logic (which will confuse them), instead, make them aware of how it is relevant to modern day
